Stripes With A Heart!

I absolutely love the blush and white stripes on this skirt, the birdcage style and box pleats make this skirt quite full when it's on. I paired this with an adorable heart t-shirt from a great Canadian company Confetti and Co. These white heels are on repeat because they are amazing and so comfortable!

Naked by Urban Decay Foundation (this does amazing things to my skin)

Tarte Dollface Blush ( I find I need a double coat but this colour is a perfect pink)

Clarisonic Face Brush ( I use this a few times a week, best skin care brush out there)

Lemon

A citrus inspired print seems to be everywhere this spring. A burst of colour is always welcome in my fashion world. To show off this skirt I took a fave Aritzia blouse of mine that I have had for a few years and turned it inside out ( I like the neckline better). I used a pale pink flat so that the shoe colour would not interfere with the skirt colour.

I Love this Dress (Kate Spade)

It is no secret I am obsessed with everything Kate Spade does. I also love that there is an outlet to visit that has great prices on some amazing Kate Spade items. Again, the fit and flare dress is an absolute must have of mine, I have a really hard time saying, "No", when I try on the prefect fitting dress. This Kate Spade pink and white striped dress is a perfect example of me standing in the change room knowing that I will regret it if I do not bring the item home. The jean jacket is on repeat because it is such a perfect fit.

The Elliot Pant (Aritzia)

Let me tell you about my favourite pant. It's name is Elliot and it comes in many different colours. Elliot is a slim fit, with a side zipper that allows for a seamless and slimming waistline. This pant is cropped at the ankle and can be worn all year, with any shoe you choose. The Elliot dresses up and down with ease. I truly believe that when you find the perfect fitting pair of pants you have to buy a few pairs, so as expected I have a few pairs. Aritzia is a store that started here in Canada, and has since branched out into the United States, their Babaton line is one of my favourites. The Babaton line has work essentials and uses a lot of lovely silk fabric in their dresses and blouses. Take a look at some photos of my favourite pants and shop the Elliot (here)

Printed Pants (Joe Fresh!)

A trend that seems to be everywhere this spring is a soft printed pant. I will be honest I was really unsure that this would work for me, until I saw this printed version from Joe Fresh. These printed pants I must admit, are so comfortable and I love the pink and navy floral. I would definitely dress these up with some white or metallic heels. For this post I decided to go more casual with a jean jacket and an easy pair of Keds. You can find these pants at your local Joe Fresh in a few other prints. These are a size small and I found they did run a little on the larger size.

Minty Cobalt

Last Spring when the mint/pastel green was found in all the stores, I was in love! This colour always captured my attention, and I found I could pair it with many unconventional colours. Bright saturated blues, reds, and even darker shades of green worked wonderful paired with mint green. Here I am wearing my favourite pair of pants ( I have these in a few colours), more on these pants later in the week, with a lovely mint green spotted blouse which has the most adorable neck tie. This was also a sad week in the fashion world as I learned one of my favourite stores Jacob will be soon closing it's doors for good. I will surely be looking for deals as the franchise goes into retirement.
